PAST PROJECTS

A concert which touched upon not only the repertoire of Louis Armstrong, but also the elements which made his music what it was, in particular: Dance (a powerful influence on his work), and how the culmination of his experiences defined in a sense the "beginning and end" of Jazz. Originally Prepared for presentation at the prestigious Juan March Foundation.

With this curious duo, accompanied only by Double Bassist Hector Oliveira, T.J. Jazz shared her most intimate side with a repertoire that in addition to her special traditional touch, was dedicated to offering melodies of jazz, broadway and unforgettable songs from all eras.

Three artist travel visit the summer teraces of madridwith 10 minute scenarios presented through dramatic interpretation, Singin, Tap Dancing, the double bass and changing of instruments.

Jazz music or rather Jazz culture is made of Music, Dance and the life surrounding it. In 2009 the Madrid Swing scene boom still hadn't begun. As a lover of jazz culture I sang for less than 100 lindy hoppers and organized the Bogui Swing Balls with different bands, dancers, free classes. It was/is a joy to sing for dancers - those are jazz roots!

Ludovico and I had been working together for about a year, and we were always excited about new ideas - and having someone not only to share those ideas with, but to bring them to life! After a DJ Introduced him to Electro-Swing, it wasn't long after we began investigating new ways to swing with REMIX. Here's the original blog: http://tjjazzmadridremix.blogspot.com.es/

Celebrating two years of T.J. Jazz in Madrid with a concert dedicated to Eartha Kitt and the very first performance of a Dynamic once in a life time Dúo: T.J. Jazz and Ludovico Hombravella. Original Blog: http://tjjazzaniversario2.blogspot.com.es/

Celebrating year of singing jazz in Madrid in the space of the original performance but with a larger cast: piano, sax, bass, drums, trumpet, guitarrist and a vocal trío!...and always: tap dance! Original Blog: http://tjjazzaniversario1.blogspot.com.es/

For a number of years alongside pianist Roberto Nuevo this dúo played throughout Madrid, Galicia (as well as the trío). Rafael Buscalioni with my first pianist in Madrid and I shared many a dúo with pianists Javier Lopez, Jorge Vera. Currently I work a lot with Diego Ebbeler for the "T.J.
